Living a life without limits
QE Health is a place to recover, relax and recharge. We believe that health and wellness is about much more than physical health. It’s about wellbeing inside and out – strengthening the body, healing the mind, and feeding the spirit.
We offer several rehabilitation programmes to help you live without limits.
ReCharge Programme
Our ReCharge programme is a three-week, inpatient pain management programme that equips you with the tools and techniques to support yourself in your own home environment – physically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally.
The programme teaches strategies to help build your confidence in your ability to manage your health and maintain an active and fulfilling life. The extensive knowledge of our multi-disciplinary team enables us to offer a variety of pathways and accommodate the diverse needs of our clients.

Our ReCharge programme

Week One: Focuses on assessment, planning and goal setting while building a strong foundation in pain management support participants throughout the educational sessions. These sessions progressively expand on this base knowledge. Additionally, we explore participants overall wellness, their personal definitions of well-being, and how it relates to their pain experience.
Week Two: Focuses on action. Working through putting pain management strategies into action to start working towards goals, objectives, trouble shooting and challenging participants thinking around their pain experience. Participants will be supported to implement tools in their group sessions as well as individual sessions.
Week Three: Focuses on participants pain management plan, where to from here and what this might look like in the community for them. This is an opportunity to recap and discuss any concepts from the first few weeks as needed.
Participants will be provided with a resource workbook that corresponds to the education sessions that they can take any extra notes on and take home to reflect upon. Participants will also be provided with a digital version of this booklet.
Post-Polio
Polio is an infectious disease caused by a virus. In most people, it is harmless and causes no symptoms. However, some people who’ve had polio develop post-polio syndrome years later.
Our Post-Polio Programme is a one week programme designed for people with the late effects of Polio or Post-Polio Syndrome.
The programme is designed to help you cope better – physically, spiritually, socially and emotionally. Rather than focussing on curing chronic conditions, our therapies are designed to enable people to live well in their own way.
