INTRODUCTION TO MASSAGE

Massage

Would you like to learn how to massage your family and friends or maybe you are thinking of massage as a career but are not certain it’s for you?
Try our easy, fun filled course where you will develop the skill and confidence to give a basic massage with one of our expert, experienced therapists.
• Maximum of 6 students per course
• Dates
Wednesday January 23 to Wednesday, February 27
• Times
6pm – 8.15pm
• Cost $299 (to be paid on booking a course).

No prior experience is required. Lots of individual attention will be given to students. Hand-outs will be provided and you will receive an attendance certificate on completion of the course.

Hydrotherapy Class

Hydrotherapy involves the use of warm water for pain relief, rehabilitation, exercise and relaxation.
Where: QE Health Hydrotherapy Pool.
Start Date: Monday 7th January 2019
Time: 6pm – 7pm
Number of clients: 8 max.
Cost: $10 per class (can pay for 5 at a time or all 10 at once).

This class is suitable for all ages, all levels of fitness and for people who experience discomfort when exercising on hard surfaces who need to improve their strength and balance.
Would you like to be more fit and active, but live with health conditions that limit your movement?
Conditions like joint pain, arthritis, osteoporosis, muscular soreness/stiffness, chronic back pain.
Recovering from an injury? Would you like to improve your range of movement, flexibility, strength, balance and coordination?
Perhaps you are just looking for a gentle form of exercise to maintain general fitness and well-being, exercising in water can help. It is easier to work on balance in the water because the fear of falling is removed Water-based exercise is safe and comfortable.
